At Elliott, all students can and will learn. No excuses! As our vision statement leading our path, all of our actions are aligned with what we truly believe in - student achievement. I am thrilled about all of the exciting learning we will embark on this year! I can't wait to get to know more about our students and watch their eyes widen. Not only will I learn from them, but they will gain knowledge from me and themselves. We will investigate, question, hypothesize, prove, journal, and prepare our brains and character for life during and beyond COLLEGE!
I am here to aid our students in setting and meeting their goals. 4th grade is a big step from 3rd grade, and much will be expected from each student. Their educational experiences will become more meaningful as they add to what they already know. At times, we may hit some bumps and need some retouching (re-teaching) and this is okay. The reward is the effort applied to gain mastery of what is being taught. Keep in mind our vision statement, and all else will fall into place.
Our goal is 100% of our class will successfully learn and demonstrate mastery of our 4th grade math objectives.
