We are learning so much in class! As we wonder, we tend to explore and learn so much more. In writing, we have just published our thank you letters, and they are ready to be mailed. Our focus has moved on to probability and statistics in math, but we are incorporating division and multiplication in our math stations. In science, we are discovering the wonders of Sir Isaac Newton's 3 Laws of Motion. Ask your child to share Newton's first law of motion with you (inertia). Watch the video together and allow your student to explain their thinking.
After I demonstrated inertia, students took the stage with their materials.
I'm so excited to be learning so much in such a small amount of time. Since we are explorers, we can't help but to learn about the explorers of Texas before our time. Subsequently, social studies has opened the doorway to us following the pathway of Texas explorers. Please join us as we continue to wonder inside Webster's Wonderland!
Communication is key! Staying up-to-date and knowing what is taking place inside our classroom can always be find on our blog. Please continue to visit as we explore and feed our curiosity.

Elliott's Uniform Drive
Are you saying to yourself, "I need to organize and donate the kids' closets!" Now will be a better time than ever because Elliott is in need of gently used uniforms. All your child has to do is bring them to school and give them to me or the school nurse.
If students bring one item to donate, they will get a free dress day (Elliott shirt and jeans) for Monday, Dec 12
If they bring more than one item to donate, they will be entered in a drawing for an after-school party on Monday Dec 12.
